About Ironjaw Support Services

At Ironjaw Support Services, we believe that not only does everyone deserve the opportunity to live life to the fullest but acknowledges the fact that life can be challenging and that supports are sometimes necessary.

We offer a range of services and provide personalized disability support for our participants that we believe empowers individuals to achieve their goals, build independence, and connect with their communities. This is achieved by working closely with our participants and their support networks to achieve all NDIS related goals.

Our team is made up of dedicated, fully qualified members who have worked in the community services industry for a combined total of close to fifty years. Each with a range of skills and lived experience which helps us better work with our participants and their families.

We take the time to understand each person’s unique needs and aspirations. Whether it’s daily living assistance, community participation, or mentoring, we’re here to make a meaningful difference — every step of the way, day by day and we’re here to stay!

Our team members are all family and friends, and we hope to welcome new participants to our family that is Ironjaw Support Services.

We’re real humans doing real work.

Currently we are operating as an unregistered service provider. But we are in the process of changing that.

    Michael

    FOUNDER and LEAD SUPPORT WORKER

    BIO:

    I’m Michael! I am 34 years old; I live in the Northeastern Suburbs of Adelaide.

    I began my support worker journey almost a full decade ago. Working for a range of companies, in various roles such as support worker, youth worker in the homelessness sector, and varying administrative/leadership roles across all jobs. I found my true calling as a support worker, as I am deeply passionate about working with people with Autism, ADHD and Anxiety. I find I can build rapport with clients quite quickly and sustain long lasting relationships with participants of all backgrounds.

    I began Ironjaw Support Services as a sole trader, to continue working with participants I’d long since been working with. As a result of this, interest levels grew to which I was able to turn this into a full business. Employing close family and friends, Ironjaw intends on providing dedicated care and support in a way that only a healthy family and friend group could. With Love and compassion!

    Outside of running Ironjaw support services, I also own a side business named Ironjaw Bookings which is an event management company that hosts metal and hardcore music events. I have a deep love of music and am in a touring metal band.

    I love Animals. Big and small. I have three rescue cats and a lizard that I adopted. I play video games in my spare time, and have a life-long love for Dragon Ball Z.

    ROSTERING and CLIENT SUPPORT

    BIO:

    My experience in the Disability sector began in late 2023, when I transitioned from the retail world into a scheduling and rostering role. Since then, I’ve developed a deep understanding of the NDIS and the vital role that good communication and thoughtful scheduling play in ensuring participants receive the best possible support.

    I always keep participants’ needs and preferences at the heart of what I do, communicating clearly and with empathy to make sure they feel supported and valued. Alongside my administrative role, I also have recent experience providing direct support, which helps me stay connected to the people behind the plans.

    Outside of work, I’m a bubbly, outgoing person who loves music, Sci-Fi, and spending time with my cats. I’m passionate about bringing positivity, reliability and care into everything I do.

    Julia

    STAFF MANAGEMENT and SUPPORT WORKER

    BIO:

    I am passionate about my animals and love spending time with family and friends. I love our beaches and the warmer weather. I also enjoy arts and crafts. I have completed a cert 4 in Child, Youth and Family Intervention and Mental Health. Prior to joining Ironjaw Support Services I worked as a Youth Worker for 14 years and I look forward to bringing my experience and knowledge to my new role.

    Benny

    SUPPORT WORKER

    BIO:

    Benny. 36. North Eastern Suburbs. I'm a big animal lover, at current I have an 11 year old German Shepherd who is my best friend in life. I also have 3 cats, which are all rescues. I also have a huge love for music of many genres, I'm listening to music at nearly any point when possible, I also of course enjoy attending live shows. When I'm not working, I like to remain active by take my dog out for walks, going for hikes with friends and going to the gym to train powerlifting. I also enjoy catching up with family and friends, playing video games and watching soccer. I have a background in many different jobs, many of which were in trades and manual labour. After going to TAFE to study horticulture, I went in to a job in the relevant field, when that fell through during COVID. Although I enjoy horticulture, it didn't feel like and industry I wanted to work in and would rather keep it to a hobby. I then really thought about what I would like to do in the future and youth work came to mind. Whilst studying my Certificate 4 in Youth Work I was offered an interview with a Disability Support provider who were happy with my character and gave me a chance, which shortly turned to a field which I love and felt rewarding for both myself and the participants I worked with, some of which I still work with to this day.

    James

    SUPPORT WORKER

    BIO:

    In my personal life I love playing video games and listening to live music. I enjoy spending time with family and friends. I have a passion for computers and completed my cert 4 in information technology & networking in 2012. I have also completed my cert 3 in customer engagement from the KEY institute, completed in 2020. I started disability support work in 2023 after doing some mentoring at anytime fitness para hills and arena Internet café. I loved the disability industry and enjoy bringing positive energy to any participants I work with. I live in the Northern Suburbs and am willing to support clients up to an hour away in any direction.

    SUPPORT WORKER

    BIO:

    My name is Mark and I have been a support worker for 10 years. I have a certificate IV in youth work. In my time as a support worker I’ve worked various roles from emergency care, case management, mentoring and residential care. Outside of support worker I like to go to the gym, watch live music and spend time with friends. I really enjoy support work and connecting with people to help them achieve their goals whichever they may be. I couldn’t imagine doing anything else.

    Dylan

    SUPPORT WORKER

    BIO:

    In my personal life I love gardening, hiking in nature and writing/performing music. I enjoy hanging out and exploring new places with my friends. My passions are being a part of the music scene and sustainable organic agriculture. I studied music and achieved a high distinction in a diploma of music, as well as certificates in IT, horticulture, land management and permaculture. I started disability support work in 2025 after moving on from a position as an apprentice diesel mechanic. I made the transition in career to fulfil my passion for helping others and supporting those who need it most. I find being a part of disability support rewarding and gives me a sense of purpose. I'm available mon-sun and able to travel an hour to clients.

    Amelia

    SUPPORT WORKER

    BIO:

    I obtained my Certificate III in Aged Care and Community services in 2010. I have 15 years experience in the Aged Care and Community sector, I’ve worked all around Australia including rural. Music and Theatre acting has been a big part of my life since I was nine years old. I’ve always been super creative and enjoy arts and craft. I love singing, songwriting, performing and attending gigs , playing my keyboard and practicing on my bass guitar. My approach has always been holistic, advocacy and person centred care is at the forefront of everything I do.
